College Tao

The plain and emotive effusions of an honest soul

About The Author

I live by my own mantra that to love is to be free.

So I could say my name is Anna and I’m 21 and I go to Boston College, but I don’t think that does me justice. The tagline of this blog is “The plain and emotive effusions of an honest soul,” because that’s precisely what I am… I’m my own soul.

While I blend the contrast between being emotive or plain, at my spiritual core I am an honest soul that is in an ever-evolving process of expansion. In reading College Tao I invite you to join my evolution, and I hope that in some small way I might even contribute to your own.

My passions are writing, meditation, yoga, horseback riding, traveling, reading, art, adventures, and creating the adventure that is my life. On the side I also explore philosophy, kickboxing, and photography, and I love the expression of tattoos.

I could read Dostoevsky and Russian literature, as well as writings from Lao Tzu, Martin Luther King Jr., Gandhi, Eckhart Tolle, Thich Nhat Hanh, Deepak Chopra, Osho, and the Dalai Lama all day long, or when I’m not pursuing one of the activities above.

Together, all of these elements along with those loved and cherished people in my life give energy and follow along with me on my path, as my path follows me back, to create this beautiful life.

Namaste,

Anna
