About College Tao
College Tao was originally created by and for myself.
After finally finding a deep spiritual connection to my inner Self over several months this past summer, I started this blog as a way to expand that same connection with with my spiritual center as well as to keep me grounded in that connection while at college.
This blog stands for the idea that college can be a place of spiritual advancement and growth despite its cultural connotations and traditions.
This blog stands for the idea that to understand is to be free.
This blog stands for the idea that our energies are all connected, and even though I started this blog for myself, I have seen its growth and positive feedback as a representation of the sentiment that while we must each walk our own path, we walk with a deep sense of universal interconnection.
On College Tao you may expect to find inspirational quotes and pictures, as well as writings on meditation, yoga, taoism, and any mantras or ideas that I feel compelled to bring to life.
The tagline on this blog represents what it is ultimately filled with - “the plain and emotive effusions of an honest soul.”
